This warning message came from the Commissioner of police, Sajjanar himself, as he said women in Hyderabad must be extremely careful about these “rent a boyfriend” procedures.

He made it very clear that people have started to trap women in the name of renting a boyfriend basis where they send professional people on coffee dates and movie dates. Shockingly women can book them on hourly basis or even pay around ₹5000 per day to keep the services.

The commissioner made it very clear that these activities can land anyone in deep trouble, and he pointed out that these renting activities can find women in compromised positions later.

This is an extremely important message to women and young girls, not just in Hyderabad, but also across India as these activities can have fatal consequences. No one knows what could be the intent of the person that would be coming on the rental basis as safety concerns are pretty significant here.
