For a long time now, Hyderabad has been on the top of the real estate market all across India when it comes to the above economical segment. This is again on display as Hyderabad has registered the highest number of sales in the bracket of ₹1-2 crore.

Hyderabad is a big player in housing sales. In the first half of 2025 (H1 CY'25), Hyderabad had the highest value of housing units sold. The total value was ₹21,448 Crores. In this period, 15,152 housing units were sold in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad beat other big cities like Bengaluru and Mumbai in terms of value of units sold. Bengaluru was close with ₹20,695 Crores in sales and 14,617 units sold. Mumbai had ₹13,454 Crores in sales with 9,514 units sold.

The data is for primary housing sales (new homes) in Hyderabad and other cities like Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and more. The prices of these homes were between ₹1 Crore and ₹2 Crores. Hyderabad's strong performance in housing sales shows it's a popular place for buying homes.

This is a pretty strong indication that Hyderabad has been on the top of the chain when it comes to above economical House sales in India. It is evident that the Hyderabad population is not backing down when it comes to spending substantial money on own houses.
