Tragic Drowning Incident Claims Life of Hyderabad Man in the US

A 31-year-old man from Hyderabad, residing in the US, tragically lost his life in a drowning incident after accidentally falling into a swimming pool. The victim, Mohammed Mustafa Shareef, worked as a food delivery driver in Pinellas Park, Florida. The incident occurred as he was returning from a food delivery.

Mohammed Mustafa Shareef is survived by his wife and two sons, the youngest of whom is just five months old. Originally hailing from Mallapur in Rangareddy district near Hyderabad, Shareef had been in the United States for only nine months.

In their time of grief, Shareef's family has sought assistance from External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. They have requested the Indian Embassy in Washington and the Indian Consulate in Atlanta to provide support. Additionally, they have urged Minister Jaishankar to appeal to the US Embassy in New Delhi and the Indian Consulate General in Atlanta for the issuance of emergency visas to enable the deceased's parents and in-laws to attend the final rites.

Amidst this tragic situation, Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) leader Amjed Ullah Khan has reached out to Shareef's family to offer his condolences and support.
