No words can describe the craze the United States has. As it has the image of the land of opportunities, people prefer the US over others. Indians have an unmatched craze for the United States. We can see more and more people going there. It has become a matter of pride for many to go there and settle there.
The Indian population is increasing in the United States rapidly and in some areas, they are more than the native Americans. This is all the positive side. But there is a negative side to it as the illegal population has been increasing.
Illegal migration to the United States is increasing and Indians make up to a major share of the population. It is said that Indians are in third place in terms of illegal migration. The data says that more than 7 lakh illegal Indians are living in America.
The data compiled by the Pew Research Center estimates, the unauthorized immigrants living in the US are increasing in the nation. Over the years the population has been increasing. Most illegal migrants come from Mexico, El Salvador, and India as per the estimations.
Those who want to go to the US illegally will be put through a hard path as they will have to face many issues. Some agents help them in reaching the US. However, unlike legal migration, there would be no support for illegal migration. The agents will only show them the path and it all depends on the fate of aspirants.
They are also prone to threats and attacks. In the worst situation, they might also face death in some circumstances. The desperation to go to the US to find employment and opportunities there is the main driving force behind this. While the journey to reach the US is one mission, facing issues and troubles there is another mission.
Whenever cops find someone suspicious they ask for the passport and other documents. If they fail to do so they would be either sent to jail or deported back to India. Being sent back to India is nothing but all the hard work they put in going in vain.
