"India and US Collaborate to Tackle Transnational Crime, Targeting Notorious Gangsters"

In a move to clamp down on criminals who are operating from the United States but targeting India, the Indian government is gearing up to exchange crucial information with the US authorities. During Prime Minister Modi's upcoming visit to the United States, India plans to hand over a meticulously compiled list of gangsters who have been involved in unlawful activities affecting India. This initiative is spearheaded by Indian security agencies following directives from the Home Ministry, highlighting the government's proactive stance in addressing transnational crime.

Among the notorious figures on this list is Satinder Singh, better known as Goldie Brar. Brar, a prominent member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has been implicated in several high-profile crimes in India, including the 2022 murder of celebrated Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. His criminal activities extend to a shooting incident at Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's residence, showcasing the broad reach of his illegal operations. Currently believed to be in the United States, Brar's extradition is a priority for Indian law enforcement.

Adding to the list of individuals India seeks to apprehend is Anmol Bishnoi, who is embroiled in numerous cases, including the shooting outside Salman Khan's home. The Mumbai police, assisted by details from US authorities regarding Bishnoi's whereabouts, are exerting efforts to secure his extradition. Bishnoi, who is also connected to the murder of Baba Siddiqui, a case that sent shockwaves through Mumbai a few months back, faces charges in the assassination of Sidhu Moosewala as well. Recognizing the severity of his crimes, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has placed a ₹10 lakh bounty for information leading to Bishnoi, who has 18 cases registered against him across India.

The cooperation between India and the US in tackling such cross-border criminal activities underscores the shared commitment to law and order. By providing the US with specific details about individuals like Brar and Bishnoi, India hopes to foster a more secure environment, free from the influence of overseas gangsters.
