India has been one of the biggest consumer market with regard to mobile phones and smart electronics. But there has been constant complaining happening about the lack of domestic development of mobile phones.

All the leading mobile phone brands, including Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Motorola and others are foreign brands which have been grabbing the market share here in India.

At a time and there is a lot of vacuum for the domestic development of the mobile phone manufacturing sector, the Indian government had called for proactive measures. IT Minister Vaishnav had recently commented that India must definitely have its own mobile phone manufacturing brand very soon.

In accordance with the latest development, I suggesting that India is going to have its own mobile manufacturing unit, starting very soon. The entire production stretch, including the manufacturing marketing, and Assembly will be initiated in India itself shortly.

According to the latest confirmation made by Indian IT minister, Ashwini Vaishnav, the stage is being prepared for the arrival of India is very own mobile brand.

India is set to launch its fully homegrown, designed & manufactured mobile phone by Oct 2028. Reportedly this project is backed by 3 years of local PCB R&D, tech already validated and chosen by a top US telecom giant.

Domestic mobile brands will reduce the prices of these mobile phones drastically, and this is something that the Indian economic condition badly needs at this point. But the real question is whether this production line of Indian fonts would be having adequate hardware and software that is offered by some of the big companies like Apple and Samsung.
