Can India Silence Back Australia And Take Revenge?

It's been over a decade since India won the ICC trophy. The last time India won the trophy was in 2013 when Men In Blue won the Champions Trophy under Dhoni’s captaincy. Since then Indian fans have been facing heartbreaks. But the 2023 heartbreak was very painful.

India hosted the 2023 World Cup. The team was unbeaten throughout the league and lost in the finals. Australia shocked us and silenced us. Ahead of the finals, Pat Cummins said they wanted to silence the crowd and did the same.

Cut to 2024, India had a big opportunity to silence Australia back. India and Australia will face each other in the Super Eight fixture today. India is unbeaten in the group as it won all the matches.

If India can defeat Australia then we can reach the next stage and knock Australia out of the league. Indian fans are hoping that Men In Blue can do it which would be a perfect revenge for the World Cup loss.

Australian captain Mitchell Marsh already gave a warning to India that they want one match to win and there would be no better team that does it referring to India. This added more interest around the match. Fans want India to silence Australia as a perfect revenge.

India’s bowling attack is very strong with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Hardik Pandya. Hardik is coming in handy with both bat and ball.

The only concern is the batting unit. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are yet to fire with the bat. They did not score any big scores so far in the league.
