India is evolving slowly and adding billionaires frequently. The potential we have in this is that, recently India’s financial capital Mumbai surpassed Beijing to emerge as Asia's leading billionaire hub. For the first time, Mumbai dethroned Beijing to get the top spot in Asia.

As India is home to many rich personalities, let us have a look at the most expensive houses in the country. There are five such marvels in the country. Let us look at their specialties.

Antilia: No wonder that the house is at the top. Owned by India’s richest person Mukesh Ambani it is an iconic location in Mumbai. Antilia, a 27-floor building has all the amenities and facilities one wants to have. It is said to be the second costliest building in the world, worth between $1 to $2 billion. The building is said to have been named after a 15th-century Spanish island.

Mannat: Another Mumbai house on the list. The ionic building is owned by King Khan Shah Rukh. Located in the posh Bandra area, Mannat is a six-storey marvel. The building’s value would be around Rs 200 crores as per an estimation.

Gulita: The Bungalow costs around Rs 450 crore which is a gift of a father for his son. Piramal Group Chairman Ajay Piramal gifted the stunning house to his son Anand Piramal. Anand is the son-in-law of Mukesh Ambani. After the wedding, Anand was given the house as a gift.

Jatia House: This is the house of industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla. The structure which is located at the posh Malabar Hill is said to be spanning around 30,000 square feet. Offering a stunning sea view is its specialty. It is said that the building has 20 bedrooms and a beautiful garden. Jatia house is valued at around Rs 425 crores.

JK House: Raymond Group is an iconic textile brand in the country that has a long history of many decades. Gautam Singhania is its managing director who owns the JK House. Just like Antilia, JK House also has a sleek design with all the required facilities. The building has a helipad, parking lots, and other facilities.

If we look at the five most expensive buildings in the country they are based out in Mumbai. The areas where the buildings are located might change but one thing is common and all the structures are in Mumbai.
