Shockingly, a proud son of the Telugu land Murali Naik had sadly passed away due to the intense firing done by Pakistan along the border at Jammu and Kashmir.
Going into the story, the latest reports regarding the final call made by Murali to his cousin is now going viral on social media, and it is bringing tears down the faces of the readers.
Mudavath Sriram and Jyothibai worked as daily wagers in the Satya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh and Murali happens to be their only child.
Their only child, M. Murali Naik, had dreamt of joining the Army since he was a child. His parents did whatever they could, despite their hardships, to help him realise that dream. In 2022, he proudly joined the Indian Army and was stationed at the border during the recent tensions.
Murali was grievously injured while bravely returning fire after his unit at the LoC came under heavy attack on 09 Feb. He succumbed to his injuries while being evacuated.
Just a few hours before his balidaan, he called his cousin. The firing was intense, but his voice carried only one worry, his parents. “It’s too heavy… I’m just thinking about Amma and Nanna,” he said. His cousin urged him to stay safe and assured him that if anything happened, the family would take care of his parents.
But sadly, Murali could not make it out safely from the grave injuries that he had suffered, and his final phone call to his family is now leaving everyone gutted. The government of Andhra Pradesh has allocated 50 lakhs ex gratia for what had happened.
