Forbes has released its 2025 list of the richest immigrants in the U.S., and Indian-origin billionaires have topped the chart. India now leads with 12 foreign-born billionaires living in the U.S., overtaking Israel.
These 12 Indian-origin individuals are part of 125 immigrant billionaires in the U.S. who together hold a combined wealth of $1.3 trillion around 18% of the total U.S. billionaire wealth.
Cybersecurity entrepreneur Jay Chaudhry, founder of Zscaler, is the richest Indian-origin immigrant in the U.S. with a net worth of around $17.9 billion. He ranks among the top 10 richest immigrants overall in the U.S.
