On that note, we have the case of a couple of Indian fraud stars who have created a massive financial scam in the United States worth around $1 billion. They have started to face the legal consequences for their actions and let us have a look into the story.
Three former executives of Outcome Health, a Chicago-based health technology start-up company, were sentenced for their roles in a fraud scheme.
They targeted the company’s clients, lenders, and investors and involved approximately $1 billion in fraudulently obtained funds. Subsequently, they have been sent to 7.5 years in prison by the court and they will face this jail sentence now.

Shradha Agarwal, 38, a co-founder and former president of Outcome, was sentenced to three years in a half-way house.
Brad Purdy, 35, the former chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Outcome, was sentenced to two years and three months in prison.
The shocking thing here is that this Indian pair was able to get away with seven years jail term, despite stealing over $1 billion in the United States economy. Many people are commenting that this is a significantly less jail sentence, considering the volume of the scam that they have done.
