Atrocious Crime: Indian Motel Owner Arrested!

The larger section of the Indian population travels to the United States for better employment opportunities, but the kind of activities that they keep doing lands them in trouble.

Dipak Kumar Patel, a 64 year old Indian origin motel owner, was arrested in Springfield Township following a police investigation into a reported abduction.

Authorities began looking into the matter after receiving information that a woman was allegedly being held against her will at the Office Motel on Massillon Road.

According to police, officers responded quickly and later located the woman. During the investigation, another man present at the motel was also taken into custody due to an active warrant against him.

Officials clarified that Patel is not accused of physically detaining the woman. However, investigators allege that he interfered with the case by withholding important details and tampering with motel records, which reportedly delayed efforts to find the woman.

Patel has been charged with obstructing official business and tampering with records. He is currently being held at the Summit County Jail as the investigation continues. Authorities have stated that the case remains under review and additional details may emerge as legal proceedings move forward.
