Going into the story, an Indian origin woman Raj Tiwana has been at the centre of landlord-tenant dispute in Surrey, British Columbia, after a disagreement over a backyard barbecue involving beef.

This Indian origin landlord made a big issue out of the recent development when her tenant was consuming beef in the backyard. She tried to stop him by throwing stones and also trying to push away the food that was being prepared on the Barbeque grill.

The dispute involved more than the BBQ, with allegations of harassment, property interference and confrontations with the tenant. Surrey Police has not publicly confirmed the circumstances of the arrest or the allegations so far.
