Shocking: Another Indian Girl Killed In Canada!

In the recent years, the volume of the Indian population travelling to the United States and Canada for higher studies and better employment opportunities has been on a constant rise. This would naturally amp up the fatality as well.

In this context, something interesting and tragic has been established as an Indian origin. Individual has reportedly been found dead in Canada.

The communication from the Indian consulate in Canada stated that “We are deeply saddened and shocked by the murder of Ms. Himanshi Khurana, a young Indian national, in Toronto. We extend our deepest condolences to her bereaved family during this moment of profound grief.

The Consulate has been in close touch with the matter over the past few days, and all possible assistance is being extended to the family in close coordination with local authorities.”

Toronto Police say Khurana was reported missing on Friday, Dec 19, around 10:41 pm, from the Strachan Ave–Wellington St W area. On Saturday, Dec 20, at about 6:30 am, officers found her deceased inside a residence. Her death has been classified as a homicide. Police say the victim and suspect were known to each other.

The suspect has been identified as Abdul Ghafoori and the police authorities have issued a statewide search warrant against him and have taken up this case on priority.
