One such story has developed now as two Indian students have lost their lives in a road accident in the United Kingdom.
Two Telugu students tragically lost their lives in a road accident in the United Kingdom. The incident took place on Monday morning near the Rayleigh Spur roundabout on the A130 dual carriageway in Essex. A group of nine students, all friends and roommates from the Ilford–Barking area, were traveling together to Southend-on-Sea when their vehicle collided with another.
The crash was severe, and two students were critically injured. They were quickly airlifted to the Royal London Hospital, but unfortunately, both passed away while receiving treatment.
One of the victims has been identified as 21-year-old Rishiteja Rapolu, a student from Boduppal in Hyderabad. The identity of the second victim has not been officially released.
Following the accident, authorities closed a long stretch of the A130 between the Sadlers Farm roundabout and Rettendon Turnpike to clear the wreckage and investigate the crash. The drivers of both vehicles, aged 23 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving.
The news has left the Telugu community in the UK and India deeply saddened. Friends, families, and fellow students are mourning the sudden loss of young lives that were full of dreams and hopes.
