These days, it is increasingly common to see students from India travel abroad for higher studies.
It is evident that this trend is catching up very sharply with thousands of Indian students travelling to the United States, each month for higher studies.
But there is this one crucial difference between the students that have been travelling from India and those from China. There is a completely different purpose to this international study experience that is being observed.
For instance, we have the case of Chinese students who have been travelling to the United States to enhance their skill set. But their immediate opinion and idea is to go back to China and apply this advanced education to develop their country.
This is perhaps one of the principal reasons by China has one of the biggest economy in the world, and it also advanced in terms of electronics and manufacturing.
But on the other hand, we have the case of Indian students who have been travelling to the United States with the intention of settling there. There is no purpose to get back to India, and that is resulting in a strong talent drain.
The complete difference in approach of Chinese students and Indian students is such that the Chinese students have been travelling to US and get back to their own country to develop their economy. But on the other hand, we have the Indian talent pool, which has been travelling interview with the intention of settling down there.
