Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are the face of Indian cricket and there is no doubt about it. Over the years the two players have been an integral part of the team. While Rohit Sharma is the opener Virat is stuck to the first down position. Rohit gives a good start to the innings and Virat maintains a good run rate.

Fans pinned high hopes that they would see India lifting the World Cup trophy as it would be a big father to the illustrious cap of these players. But the fate had other plans. India fell short of the expectations and ended up as the runner-up.

As India could not reach the expectations a debate started about the future of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The current skipper and former skipper are over 35 and the chances of them being in the team for the next World Cup is not possible.
