2024 has a lot of significance politically. The Lok Sabha elections in India will be held in 2024. The party winning the elections will come to power at the Centre. 2024 also has a big significance in the United States. The Presidential elections will be held next year.
Compared to the previous elections, the upcoming US Presidential elections are going to be special. The reason is that Indian-origin people are trying their luck. As many as four Indian-origin people are gearing up to run the polls. This caught everyone's attention to see who would win the polls.
Indian-origin Shiva Ayyadurai who was born in Mumbai and moved to the US later is said to be the new candidate for the elections. The 59-year-old said that he wants America to be great and it can happen only when people with commitment run the country.
A scientist by profession, Shiva Ayyadurai is a founder of a firm that works on finding cures for diseases. His image might come in handy for him and help him attract a good number of votes in the elections.
As he is said to be coming from a humble background, he knows how people with less income and immigrants face issues in the country. If he can highlight this in the campaign then he can bank on that. It is known that serving US President Joe Biden promised to increase the cap on visas and had an advantage in the last elections over Donald Trump.
Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Hirsh Vardhan Singh already said they would run in the next elections. Shiva Ayyadurai might be running the elections as an independent candidate.
However, they might face big competition from former US President Donald Trump. He has been saying that he will run the polls. It might be an interesting battle to watch for.
Rishi Sunak is currently serving as the United Kingdom Prime Minister. If any one of the four Indian-origin people wins the elections then we would see two big nations run by Indians. If this happens then it would be a rare sight to see. Let us wait and see what happens.
