Big Concern: Indians And Other Sub-Continent Students Attacked?

Indian students continue to be vulnerable in other countries. Students move to other nations for higher studies. However, they are often subjected to violence and such incidents are increasing in the United States, UK, and others. Now another nation joined the list raising many concerns.

As per the information that is coming from the media reports, the Asian country Kyrgyzstan is seeing violent attacks against students. Not just Indians, students of Pakistan and Bangladesh are also attacked. It is said that the students are targeted.

Hostels where the students are staying saw attacks which raised many eyeballs. It is said that a clash that broke out at a hostel campus escalated quickly triggering tense scenes. With this, the students of the ethnicity were attacked reportedly. Social media is filled with videos that say the students were targeted.

If we have to take anything from the media reports, the face-off happened between local students and Egypt students earlier this month. But it did not take much for things to go out of hand and students became the target of the attacks.

Seeing what’s happening Embassies of the respective countries are believed to have issued warnings to students to be careful and not step out.

Reports say that the students were advised not to step out of their hostels as a safety measure. It is a big concern that students who left everything to pursue higher studies.

Like how students prefer Ukraine for studies due to low expenses and a good environment, Kyrgyzstan is also the top pick of them. However, it came as a big shock to one and all that Indian, Pakistan, and Bangladeshi students were attacked.
