It is known that students prefer going abroad to pursue higher studies. Going to big educational institutions not only helps them to get exposure to various aspects but also work hard to make ends meet. Students take some time out of their busy schedules and get part-time jobs there.

However, things are not going well with the Indians moving abroad. Recently it was reported that Canada, the second most preferred destination of Indians is dealing with the housing crisis due to the massive rise in the cost of living. Minding the situation, the administration in Canada is reportedly thinking of imposing a cap on the foreign students who land in Canada.

Now it is being reported that the same is the case with the United States. Finding a good place to stay has reportedly become a big concern there. The situation is so problematic that it is not even possible to share rooms with a common toilet.

It costs a bomb to get a decent house on rent in costly cities like New York, California, Texas, and others. Forget about the costly cities, it is also not an easy task to get houses on rent in normal cities as well.

Not being familiar with the costs there is a big concern. Some people have relatives and friends there and they can seek their help in negotiating the rent prices. But the same will not be the case with everyone. They have only one option which is to search for the houses on online aggregators.

Well, opting for aggregators is also not that easy and they have to pay a certain amount initially to see the houses. Later they have to pay the amount they ask and there will be no other option left.

Looking at all these aspects, one can say that the problems of students going abroad won't end with getting the visas they face the biggest challenge in the form of searching for a suitable house within their budget. Cost of living is very high there and financial planning is the key. They cannot make ends meet if they end up paying more money for just rent.
