US Cop’s Insensitive Comments On Indian Student’s Death!

It is known that more and more Indians are moving to the US for higher studies. But in an unfortunate trend, Indians are becoming targets of violence there which is alarming. In one such incident, a Telugu student was killed in a road mishap. She was hit by a police patrol car earlier this year.

Now the body cam footage of an officer is breaking the internet for the incentive comments he made. Moments after the demise of the girl, a police officer was recorded laughing out loud knowing what had happened, and calling the victim just a regular person.

The video is so disturbing that he told the fellow cop to write a check as the 26-year-old has a limited value. The video is now doing rounds on social media with people expressing concerns about the rude behaviour of the cop.

As if making such comments was not enough the officer burst into laughter as if he was telling a big joke. Death is not an issue to make fun of and she was hit by a patrolling vehicle.

Many wonder how a cop can react to the demise of an Indian who has a bright future ahead. The officer also said that it would be enough to write a check for $11,000 and it is more than the value of a 26-year-old.

“She's just a regular person Write a check for $11,000; she was 26 anyway, had limited value,” the officer can be heard.

Talking about the incident, Jaahnavi Kandula who is from Telugu land was hit by a patrolling vehicle earlier in January this year. She sustained serious injuries and passed away. This unfortunate incident happened when she was crossing the road.
