It is an open secret that the quality of education is high abroad and students who dream of better education and life prefer going abroad for higher studies. Many take immense pride in sending their children abroad as they see it as a prestige. More and more students are going abroad.

Going abroad might be a dream of many, but a lot of money goes into it and many go for loans. As an example of how the number of Indians going abroad increased, the education loans taken by Indian students increased by more than 60 percent.

To give a clear picture, in the Financial year 22, Indian students took loans worth Rs 7,576.02 crore. The loans are not just a financial burden on the concerned students but also a mental burden. The loans they take to go abroad often haunt them and that is the reason why they end up taking part-time jobs there.

Making ends meet is one of the reasons for doing jobs there, but clearing the debts is the major reason. Students get some or other job there and send some amount to their families to clear their debts. The situation would be different if they can crack a full-time job that pays them good salaries.

Sadly that will not be the case with many students and they go through a time. The financial burden of the loans turns into a mental burden for students and they also battle depression. The situation would be even worse if the students have no one to share their pain with.

In many cases, students won't share what they are going through with their parents and loved ones thinking that they would also feel the pressure of the loans. But this is not the ideal thing to do as per the experts.

Health experts say that dealing with such things alone would have a heavy toll on people and they would slip into depression. To beat this, the experts say that they should often talk to their parents, friends, and loved ones. Meeting therapists is also a good thing to do, say the experts
