Team India bid goodbye to 2023 on a bad note by losing the World Cup. The prestigious event was hosted by India. Now Indian team added another feather by being a part of the longest match. After the 20-over match, two super overs were played and then the Indian team won the match completing the clean sweep.

Afghanistan and India locked horns for the third match in the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Rohit Sharma and Rinku Singh went into the beast mode and put up a big score of 212. In response, Afghanistan scored the same runs, and the match was tied.

A super over was played and India scored 16 runs. Afghanistan also scored 16 runs. With this, the second superover was played. India managed to score just 11 runs and 12 was the target for Afghanistan. But India created a sensation and defended the score. Ravi Bishnoi gave just one run and Afghanistan lost two wickets.

It was a Paisa Vasool performance for the fans. But the match lasted for a longer time. After being part of the shortest Test match in history and emerging victorious, team India is part of another thriller and proved that it can pull off another win.

In a span of two weeks, team India recorded two memorable wins which are contrast in nature from each other. The test match was the shortest match ever in the history. Talking about the T20 match, this is the first time that the match result came in the second super-over. Fans are so happy with the achievement of the team that it added two feathers to its illustrious cap this month.
