NDA is unbeatable: India TV CNX survey

Well! The I.N.D.I.A front of the opposition may put up a concerted fight but it still may not be enough to block the BJP's hattrick in the upcoming 2024 elections. Modi and his team of allies under the NDA might actually hold on to its tally in the general elections. This is the sum and substance of the public mood survey ahead of the 2024 elections conducted by reputed TV channel India TV and CNX.

The survey results, aired in India TV's Desh Ki Awaz show, shows that the Modi-led alliance will win the elections comfortably. Thus, Modi would equal Indira Gandhi's record of becoming the PM for three times. According to survey, the NDA will win 318 seats, while the Congress-led front will get up to 175 seats. The others, including the YSRCP, TDP, BJD, KCR's BRS and AIADMK would get up to 50 seats.

The BJP's tally, according to the survey might drop from 303 to 290, which is still a good 18 seats above the simple majority mark. It's allies could win up to 28 seats. The Congress, the survey says, could improve its tally marginally and go up to 66 from 52. If the survey results are right, then the Congress would emerge considerably weaker as its allies will get 109 seats.

The biggest shock for the BRS would be in Telangana. The BJP might increase its tally from four MP seats to six seats. But, if the survey is to be believed, it would be mainly Congress loss. The BRS may have to remain content playing its regional role with no hopes of a breakthrough at the national level.
