Big Question: How Many Trees BCCI Planted Due to IPL?

It is already known that the IPL is the biggest cricket tournament in the world and it generates a lot of revenue and financial interactions every year. But now we have a different topic of discussion, and here is a look into the same.

It is being established in principal that the IPL has this new regulation about the dot ball percentage and it’s after effects.

Communication made by the IPL is that every time there is a dot delivery that is delivered in the tournament, trees are planted. Previously, it was 500 trees for every single dot ball in the knockout stages of the tournament. This has been refined to 19 trees per dot ball this year.

In the meanwhile, there has a lot of discussion happening on social media about the implementation of this program by the BCCI and the IPL governing body.

People started questioning if the BCCI was actually taking the seriously and planting these trees. While there has been a lot of debate happening on this, the latest developments are suggesting that the BCCI is indeed serious about this.

Apparently, the BCCI and the IPL body had been parenting with Tata group in planting as many as 6 lakh trees since the last three years. This is a very serious program that was taken up by the authorities and also the governing body of the IPL.

It is good to see that the Tata group has taken this promise, very seriously and is actually enhancing the environmental status through the same.
