First game between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals produced and thriller as Delhi scored sensational, 264 runs in the first innings, and this was just down with an over to spare by Punjab.
Thanks to some poor bowling and pathetic field by the Delhi Capitals team. The job was that much more easier for Punjab who ended up chasing down this massive target of 265 runs within 19 overs. This is the new all Time record in IPL cricket for the highest run chase in an innings.
This was again followed by another sensational game of Cricket between Hyderabad and Rajasthan on the same night.
Rajasthan batted first and they scored 228 runs in the first innings. Everyone thought this would be a pretty significant target for Sunrisers Hyderabad, but the boys in Orange did not back down from the challenge.
In response to this massive run, Hyderabad started brilliantly, thanks to Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan. This was followed by a very good innings from Nitish Kumar Reddy, and the rest of the lower order.
Subsequently, Hyderabad ended up in this game comfortably with an over to spare. Muck like Punjab, even Hyderabad was able to close out the game comfortably with an over to spare.
