IPL saw a record number of sixes in a season in 2024 with as many as 1260 maximums. We have seen the highest sixes by a player by Abhishek Sharma of SRH while Travis Head has the record for the highest fours.

The highest total record was broken and SRH set up a new record with 287 runs.2024 also recorded the highest score while chasing 262 runs. While Kolkata Knight Riders scored 261 runs, PBKS chased the target in just 18.4 overs.

SRH is also part of a unique record as the highest score was recorded in two innings combined. In the match between SRH and RCB 549 runs were scored. While SRH scored a mammoth 287 with a brilliant century of Travis Head, RCB scored 262. Though RCB fell short of the win, it had managed to add a big record to its name.

Even the final match that was played yesterday scripted a record as the fastest completed knockout or finals match. We got the result in just 29 overs. Overall the edition was concluded on a high note with massive records to its name.
