It has been officially confirmed by the President of United States Donald Trump, that the Supreme leader of Iran Khamenei has been killed. Iranian state media has officially confirmed the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stating that he was killed in a joint air strike allegedly carried out by the United States and Israel.

The announcement was made in an emotional broadcast on state television, where anchors broke down in tears while describing his death as “martyrdom.” The channel claimed Khamenei was performing his official duties when the strike targeted his compound in Tehran.

Iranian authorities blamed Washington and Tel Aviv for what they called a “cowardly assassination” and warned that revenge would follow. A forty day national mourning period has been declared across Iran.

The news triggered strong reactions beyond Iran’s borders. In Jammu and Kashmir, several protests were reported in areas such as Srinagar, Sonawari and Bandipora. Demonstrators, many from the Shia community, gathered on the streets carrying portraits of Khamenei and raising slogans against the United States and Israel.

Protesters described the killing as a brutal attack and expressed solidarity with Iran. Local religious leaders appealed for calm, urging people to maintain peace despite heightened emotions.

Khamenei’s death marks a major turning point in Middle Eastern politics and could significantly reshape Iran’s leadership structure. At the same time, the protests in Kashmir underline the deep religious and ideological connections that extend far beyond Iran’s borders.
