Hitman of Indian Cricket Rohit Sharma called it quits from the T20 format on a high note after winning the T20 World Cup. Under his captaincy India lifted the Trophy making him the second skipper after Mahendra Singh Dhoni to lift the T20 World Cup. After a long time, India won the ICC trophy.

As Rohit Sharma retired from the T20 format a debate started that he might retire from the other formats too as he is 37 already. A few experts gave their thoughts on the possible retirement of the World Cup winning skipper.

The Hitman cleared all the doubts about the debate and said that he is not looking at retirement any time soon. At the recent CEAT awards, Rohit Sharma was asked about his future plans and he said that he is not going to stop.

Giving more insights the skipper shed light on his stint as the skipper in the IPL. Rohit Sharma said that there is a reason he won five titles in the IPL. I am not going to stop as you don't want to stop after getting the taste of winning games and cups.

Rohit Sharma said that they try to keep pushing as a team and give the best performance. He said that interesting tours are coming up and this is the best exciting time for Indian cricket moving forward.

The Indian team is focusing on upcoming ICC events which are slated to be commenced next year. One is the Champions Trophy and the second one is the WTC final. India lost the 2017 Champions Trophy to Pakistan and fans want the Men In Blue to lift the trophy this time.

Talking about the WTC final, India lost two titles, and this time team India want to lift the trophy. If India can win the two titles, Rohit Sharma’s legacy as the skipper would reach a new height.
