Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is having the best time as far as its missions are concerned. Recently, it scripted history with the successful lunar mission Chandrayaan-3. The spacecraft identified a few metals on the moon’s surface and clicked pictures. The rover and the lander are put to rest.

It is known that ISRO started its first solar mission named Aditya-L1. The spacecraft is slated to travel a massive 1.5 million kilometers and have a successful landing. The mission was started to study the sun and its atmosphere. The spacecraft is going on the right path.

Now Aditya-L1 took a memorable picture of Earth and the Moon in the same frame. ISRO said that the picture was clicked by the on-board camera in Aditya-L1 on the fourth of this month. For a better understanding, the Moon was marked in the picture.

“Onlooker! Aditya-L1, destined for the Sun-Earth L1 point, takes a selfie and images of the Earth and the Moon,” ISRO captioned the post.

The solar mission which is on its way to land on Lagrange Point 1 took a selfie and shared it. Besides taking a selfie, it also captured the Sun and the Moon in a single frame.

Talking about Aditya-L1, it was launched from the Sriharikota launch pad on the 2nd of September. The mission marks the first solar mission of India which aims to study the sun. It is equipped with seven payloads that help in its mission.
