It is said that out of the 19 employees, 16 employees were removed while three employees were shifted from the resource management wing. Not just that, six vendors were also found to be having a role in this and they are barred from any further business.
The alleged scam came to light earlier this year weeks after the new chief executive took over the big position. This made the management to swing into action and launch an inquiry. As a result, the alleged scam came to light. However, no key managerial personnel in the company are involved with this.
The allegations in the scam are that a few vendors joined hands with the staff members of TCS in the new recruitments. A few months after launching the inquiry, the management took a strong decision. TCS will not work with the vendors in the future.
The management said that it will take all the measures to see that such things won't repeat in the future and said that it will not tolerate any sort of unethical conduct. The recruitment scam came to light when the company said it would recruit as many as 40,000 employees in the financial year.
