No Police Security: Jagan Warns Chandrababu!

YS Jagan is currently on his weekly trip to Andhra Pradesh and after having visited Vallabhaneni Vamsi at Jail yesterday, he arrived in Guntur today to meet with Mirchi farmers. This visit to Guntur is an action packed one as well.

Jagan arrived at the Guntur Mirchi Yard earlier in the morning today, and he managed to pull pretty decent crowds for the same. However, there was one logistical change that was enforced on this trip, as compared to yesterday’s jail visit.

Jagan arrived in Guntur without any police protection today, and this is due to the fact that the election code is in effect in Guntur in view of the forthcoming MLC election. The election commission rejected the permission for Jagan’s Guntur trip today, but he was reluctant about the same and arrived anyway.

So the police department is not legally obliged to provide security to Jagan as he is discriminating the EC order.

On this matter, Jagan stated “Chandrababu must note that he will not be in power forever. The next term he comes to opposition, we will make sure he will not have any police protection while stepping out. He must imagine how the situation will be at that point when he is in opposition.”

In the absence of police protection, YSR Congress supporters had to voluntarily look after the security arrangements. Jagan had Kodali Nani and Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy by his side on this visit today.
