YS Jagan’s Sensational Comments On Vizag Steel Plant!

Everyone knows that the Vizag Steel Plant has a big history in Andhra Pradesh. It was set up after a big protest and a big movement. The Steel plant is getting a lot of importance as the state is going to elections in a few weeks. Amid this, the Chief Minister made crucial comments.

The BJP-led Union Government is focusing on privatizing public entities and Vizag Steel Plant was also listed for the same. While it was not privatized yet it is a very sensitive matter in the wake of the elections.

Now Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made key comments on the steel plant and said that it was the YCp which has written to the Centre on the Privatisation urging it to not privatise it.

The leaders of Visakha Ukku Parikrakshan Porata Samiti met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. It is said that the leaders raised the topic of the steel plant and expressed their concerns over the possible privatisation.

While addressing the leaders, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy told them that YCP has been fighting against the privatison and it was them who had written to the PM to stop the Privatisation. Saying that they are with the employees, Jagan said that only they have the right to seek their support.

At the same time, Jagan also targeted the opposition parties. He said that the opposition parties allied for the elections but they did not fight against the privatisation and they have no right to talk about the steel plant.

What Jagan said might put the opposition parties in trouble. The alliance is yet to talk about the issue. Earlier TDP and Janasena opposed the Privatisation. But they are yet to announce their stand on this after the BJP announced the alliance. We have to wait and see what the alliance says on this.
