YS Jagan Not Learning From Defeat In Elections?
But there is always success after defeat only for those who learn from their mistakes and use the failures as the stepping stone of success

But there is always success after defeat only for those who learn from their mistakes and use the failures as the stepping stone of success. This suits politics perfectly. There are leaders who bounced back after big defeats.
If we take the BJP as an example, it came to power from just two seats. When BJP managed to win just two seats Atal Bihari Vajpayee said the party would rise again. Later BJP came to power. From 2014 it has been in power at the Centre.
Coming to Andhra Pradesh, TDP and Janasena suffered humiliating defeats in 2019. While TDP won just 23 seats, Janasena won just one seat and Pawan lost both seats. But the two parties bounced back and came to power. Alliance won over 160 seats in the elections.
However, the observers say that Jagan did not learn from the defeat and this is not a good sign for him. When the results were out, Jagan said his government benefited people with the names of schemes and he cannot understand where the love had gone.
On the other hand, Jagan reportedly said their ruling was good and they benefited the people. Having said that, he expressed his confidence in coming to power in the state again.
YCP might have done a good job in the welfare schemes. But people preferred the alliance over YCP. So the leadership should focus on the factors that made the people prefer the alliance and work on coming back strongly.
But Jagan is said to have not understood this and he is still saying the party would bounce back and they did a good job in power in the last five years. Such things would not help Jagan and his party in any manner.
