Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has declared that his party will contest the 2028 Telangana Assembly elections, turning a denied public meeting into a major political flashpoint.

Addressing the media from his Jubilee Hills residence, Kalyan asserted that JSP would not back down from Telangana politics and challenged his critics, saying he would not be intimidated by threats.

Emphasising his longstanding connection with Telangana, he maintained that his commitment to the State was genuine and not driven by political convenience.

This confirmation from the deputy CM is going to be a significant deal as the participation of Pawan Kalyan in the upcoming Telangana assembly election is going to be very consequential.

There are already multiple parties like the BRS, BJP and Congress, which are fighting a close battle in Telangana. And we anyway have the entry of KCR’s daughter Kavitha who is determined to have a big role in the election race herself.

Janasena did not have a great campaign in the previous 2023 Telangana assembly election. But considering the fighting spirit of Pawan Kalyan, he is not backing down from contesting the next collection.
