Kaleshwaram Investigation: KCR,Harish Rao Might Be Called?

The Kaleshwaram Project is a prestigious project in Telangana. The BRS government took the project prestigiously and it is said that it cost around Rs 1 lakh crore. BRS often talks about the specialty of the project as it is dubbed as the largest multi-stage lift irrigation project.

However, the Kaleshwaram project has been hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons. It is known that there were a few cracks in the Medigadda Barrage and a few piers sank. This issue grabbed everyone’s attention. Officials from the Centre inspected the barrage and filed a report.

Since then there have been big issues around the project and the possible irregularities. The Justice Chandra Ghose Commission is taking care of the investigation into the issue. Earlier reports said that the commission found some lapses in the issue and a few Engineers were also questioned.

The Commission is said to be focusing on the possible influence of leaders in the last term. Having asked the concerned authorities to submit the affidavit on this the body is said to be focusing on big names.

As per the information shared by the mainstream media, there is a chance that former Chief Minister KCR and former Finance Minister Harish Rao will face the probe. Harish might get the notices soon and after questioning the commission might go to KCR.

Before calling the Mama-Alludu Justice Chandraghosh might reach out to the construction firms, officials who were part of the barrage construction, and agencies that are probing technical matters. After getting the key information the commission might ask Harish Rao and KCR for the questioning is what the reports say.
