Finally, BRS Says Goodbye To Kavitha!

The only daughter of former Telangana chief minister KCR, Kalvakuntla Kavitha has been suspended from the BRS party. The party communicated the news about her suspension earlier in the day, and this comes to effect immediately.

BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao has suspended his daughter and MLC K. Kavitha from the party. The action follows Kavitha’s allegations against finance minister T. Harish Rao and BRS MP J. Santosh Kumar over the Kaleswaram project scam.

Kavitha, who has been openly critical of her brother K.T. Rama Rao and Harish Rao in recent months, has increasingly positioned herself as a rebel voice within the party.

It can be noted that Kavita has been suspended from the party on disciplinary grounds as she made a set of shocking allegations against Harish Rao and Santhosh Kumar. She is no longer a part of the BRS ecosystem after this suspension.

The BRS has now officially waved goodbye to Kavitha and this must be a big challenge for her to turn things around in Telangana politics.

It is reported that Kavita is also contemplating the area of resigning from the party Post, and also the MLC position before the party notifies the council about her suspension. She is expected to address the Media tomorrow and is likely to make a series of interesting comments about this suspension and related developments.

As we had reported already earlier in the day, Kavita is likely to launch a new party with the name TBRS(subject to change) in the next few days. She is reportedly preparing for her own political debut soon.
