Earlier the episode was seen as a fight between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. But Biden stepped down from the race. He endorsed Kamala Harris as the candidate for the elections.
Amid buzz over Kamala Harris' possible candidacy in the elections, a village in Tamil Nadu became the talk of the town as massive posters were set up wishing Kamala Harris in the elections.
It is known that Thulasendhrapuram is the native village of Kamala Harris' grandparents. In the wake of reports over Kamala possibly running the elections posters were set up in the village outside a temple. It is said that Kamala Harris and her grandfather earlier donated to the temple.
Not just setting up posters, special prayers were offered and Prasadam was distributed to the locals, say reports. The villagers are happy with where Kamala Harris stands now and they are extending their wishes.
As of now, we don't have any clarity on whether Kamala Harris will be the presidential candidate or not as the party did not make any formal announcement. But the locals are confident of her candidacy as they set up the posters.
Indian-origin people reaching great heights in other countries is quite common and their native villages swing into celebrations celebrating their success. Kamala Harris is no different from this. This is not the first time the village celebrated Kamala Harris.
The village grabbed everyone’s attention when Kamala Harris was nominated as the Vice President candidate in the last elections. The villagers recalled that it is the native place of her grandparents and prayed for her success. The same is happening now.
