The ongoing Bangladesh is seeing many twists and turns. The impact of the unrest was that the Prime Minister had to flee the country. Shocking scenes are being reported from the country as Minorities including Hindus are being targeted. They are staging protests condemning the attacks.

Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made sensational comments on the hand of foreign forces behind this. She alleged that the US has a hand in this. In the first interview after leaving the country she made these shocking allegations.

Now the White House had reacted to the allegations and rubbished them.The White House said that it is nowhere involved in the issue and it rubbished all the reports and rumours on its involvement.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked a question on this issue highlighting the allegations made by the former Prime Minister. Taking the question the Secretary said the US has no involvement in this and all the claims that are coming in the way are false. However, the Secretary said the US is closely monitoring the situation.

Talking about the situations in the country, the White House Secretary said what the people have decided is their choice and they are of the view. Saying that it is the decision of the people the White House Secretary denied any involvement in the case.

Earlier media reports are abuzz that Hasina in an interview reportedly said had she left St Martin's Island and the Bay of Bengal for the United States then she would have not faced the situation. It is said that the former PM even alleged she was assured a smooth path to power by a white man. These media reports grabbed everyone’s attention as the US is gearing up for the elections.
