The government of Karnataka has come up with a very innovative decision when it comes to the imposition of the new city planning and development policy. They have taken an interesting measure when it comes to solving the prevailing issues in Bengaluru.

The Karnataka government has introduced a new plan to reduce the constant pressure on Bengaluru by encouraging IT employees to move to other developing cities in the state.

As part of this plan, the government is offering a one time incentive of fifty thousand rupees to every eligible employee who shifts from Bengaluru to cities like Mysuru, Mangaluru, Kalaburagi and Hubballi.

The main idea behind this offer is to reduce the heavy traffic, pollution and infrastructure load that Bengaluru has been facing for many years. The government believes that spreading IT development across multiple cities will support balanced growth and create more job opportunities outside the capital.

This initiative is included in the new IT policy for the period of two thousand twenty five to two thousand thirty. Under this policy, companies that shift a part of their workforce or set up new offices in tier two and tier three cities will receive additional support.

The government has allocated a large budget to make this relocation plan successful and hopes that more companies will explore expansion beyond Bengaluru.

If this policy succeeds, it may open the door for strong IT ecosystems in several Karnataka cities, reduce congestion in Bengaluru and create a more even distribution of development across the state.
