Tragic: 31 Killed At Thalapathy Vijay Stampede

Tamil superstar, Thalapathy Vijay is acting participating in the campaign ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu general election. In this context, he held a political meeting in the Karur region of Tamil Nadu.
However, there was a tragic incident that happened at this political meeting as a huge stampede broke out, and multiple fertilities are being reported in this context.
According to the latest reports, it is being established as many as 31 people have been confirmed dead in this stampede that had happened.
It is being confirmed that 31 people have died while 58 others people are in serious condition and the tally of the dead could be going up based on further treatment to the affected.
The stampede at the rally organized by actor and T.V.K. party president Shri Vijay in Karur, Tamil Nadu, is unfortunate. According to preliminary information, I am shocked to learn that 31 people lost their lives in this incident.
It is distressing that six children are among the deceased. I express my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased. I urge the Tamil Nadu government to provide better medical care to the injured, AP deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan tweeted on this matter.
