TDP Found Replacement For Kasani Gnaneshwar As State Chief?

The grand old Telugu Desam Party has had a rollercoaster ride as far as the Telangana wing is concerned. The party first announced that it will contest the upcoming general elections in the state and the candidates list would be announced soon.

However, the party took a shocking decision and decided to back out of the election fight at the last moment. The party has some good hold in a few regions and despite this the decision was taken.

This did not go well with Kasani Gnaneshwar, the state chief. With no other option left he resigned from his party leaving the outfit a driver less vehicle. Kasani is a popular name in the state and he hails from the community which can be a deciding factor in the elections.

No matter what the party is left without a leader to lead. The party leadership had swung into action to find a replacement and it is said that a name was finalized.

As per the media reports, TTDP Coordination Committee member Arvind Kumar Goud might get the plum post to lead the party. It is said that talks are going on and we might hear some big news soon.

Arvind Kumar Goud is the only prominent person left in the party. After the 2018 elections, the leaders started joining the other parties one after the other. Earlier Ramana who led the party in the state left and recently it was Kasani who left the party.

As Arvind has been with the party no matter what is the situation of the outfit in the state and raised voice strongly after Chandrababu Naidu's arrest, he might have been picked. Let us wait for the official word on this.

However many wonder what is the need to appoint the state chief when the party won't contest the elections. If the general elections are completed then there would be no other elections any time soon.
