Padi Kaushik Reddy Lands In Trouble, Case Filed

Huzurabad is one of the much-discussed constituencies in Telangana to see what would be the election result. Heavyweight Etela Rajender who has been winning from the Huzurabad seat for a few terms is contesting the seat yet again. The former Minister is in the election race as a BJP candidate.

On the other hand, the ruling party fielded Padi Kaushik Reddy as the candidate against Etela Rajender. Both leaders faced each other in the last by-elections with Etela emerging victorious in the intense fight. Despite this, the BRS leadership gave Padi Kaushik Reddy another chance.

While giving the last push for the election campaign on the last date Padi Kaushik Reddy shocked one and all as he made an emotional appeal to the voters. He said that if voters won't vote for him he would commit suicide. His comments created a big sensation and raised many eyeballs.

His emotional comments landed him in big trouble as a case is said to have been filed against him in connection with the case. An MPDO took a strong objection to what the MLA candidate did and filed a complaint with the cops.

Padi Kaushik Reddy’s row took an unexpected turn with the issue going to the notice of the Election Commission. The election body took a strong objection to this and directed the returning officer in the Huzurabad constituency to submit a report on the controversy.

Padi Kaushik Reddy was a Congress leader. In a shocking turn of events, he was suspended from the party before the Huzurabad by-elections. He joined the BRS party and was made the candidate. However, he lost the elections to Etela and he is again gearing up to face him in the elections.
