No Relief For Kavitha: Court Denies Bail For Ex-MP!

It is known that BRS faced a big shock with the arrest of Kavitha. The Former Chief Minister’s daughter was arrested and sent to remand in connection with the sensational Delhi Liquor scam. At a time when the BRS was dealing with election defeat and leaders leaving, ED gave a big shock.

She has been in remand. All eyes were on the Court to see what would be the verdict. The Rouse Avenue court in the national capital Delhi gave the verdict. The Court which was scheduled to give the verdict reserved it.

Putting an end to this, the Court gave the verdict giving a big shock. Yet again Kavitha faced a shock as her bail was denied. The Court refused to give the bail to the former MP. She is in the Tihar jail under the Judicial Remand in the case.

After hearing the arguments of both sides, the Court gave the verdict denying the bail. Lawyers representing the former Chief Minister’s daughter placed their arguments saying that there is no evidence against her and despite this, she was arrested, media reports say. The lawyers also said that the CBI arrested Kavitha when she was in ED custody.

On the other hand, Lawyers who represented ED and CBI said that if she gets bail in the case then she might influence the witnesses. After hearing arguments of both sides the Court said no to the bail.

It is said that ED and CBI have been saying the same whenever the bail petition comes to the hearing and this happened a few times. Yet again the same arguments were placed.
