Telangana Parliament Polls: A Defeat of Lifetime for KCR

Telangana CM KCR wanted to become the Prime Minister. He had tall dreams on how to lead the nation with the support of other parties. But, unfortunately, he tasted a humiliating defeat now in the recently concluded Parliament elections. For the first time, there is no one representing KCR's family in the Parliament. At the same time, BRS also got zero seats this time.

No one expected that BRS would limit itself to zero seats in the election. No one has even predicted the same. The people of BRS have outrightly rejected the party and it is a humiliating defeat for them after losing the election.

In the current election, BRS managed to retain deposits only in Mahabubnagar and Khammam. Even in Medak, a constituency where KCR had previously contested, the party was defeated, finishing in third place.

All the political rivals of the party worked aggressively and ensured that BRS fails big time in the election. KCR is a leader who envisioned of becoming the Prime MInister by winning all the 17 constituencies. But, the plans failed and all his strategies failed to yield good results.

While KCR is credited with the formation of Telangana, widespread corruption among party leaders and a perceived neglect of the public mandate have contributed to this significant electoral defeat. It is the wake up call for the party to eliminate all the unnecessary leaders and build the party back from grassroots levels.

Let us hope that KCR has a plan now in rekindling his party.
