KCR To Evoke Sympathy In Lok Sabha Elections Campaign?

Telangana's former Chief Minister KCR is not like any other leader. He had the opportunity to play a crucial role in the bifurcation movement. In the last stage of the movement, BRS which was TRS back then played a crucial role. KCR even sat for the hunger strike for the special state.

In the 2014 and 2018 elections, KCR used the Telangana sentiment and took his party to a big win. In 2014, TRS won the elections as it marked the first elections after the state was formed. As the decades-old demand was fulfilled, people in the state elected TRS to power in the state.

In the 2018 elections, a few parties joined hands for a grand alliance to face the elections. The TRS party invoked the Telangana sentiment and sent a strong message to the people that Andhra leaders are back and if they are voted then the purpose of the special state will not be fulfilled. We all knew what happened.

Coming to the 2023 elections, BRS lost the elections with Congress going all guns blazing. Having lost the general elections, BRS is eyeing the Lok Sabha elections and it wants to bounce back. So far, Harish Rao and KTR are leading the attack against the Congress government.

BRS Chief KCR is likely to swing into action and take oath as the MLA. Later, the former Chief Minister would focus on the campaign. The political observers say that KCR might invoke sympathy in the Lok Sabha elections.

Media reports say that KCR might campaign in the Lok Sabha elections in a wheelchair. One thing is that KCR underwent surgery recently and was asked to take rest. The second thing is that KCR wants to invoke the sentiment.

While people want to see if KCR can invoke the sentiment or not, there is also a debate on whether this works or not. Using sympathy card is like a double-edged sword. If everything goes well it will work very well. Or else it would be a weapon against those who try to use it.
