Kesineni Nani Into BJP? Clarification Here

Former member of Parliament from Vijayawada, Parliamentary constituency, Kesineni Nani had announced political retirement on June 10, after a failed election campaign with YSR Congress. However, the latest updates from certain media outlets have been saying that Nani is returning to politics soon as he is joining the BJP.

However, Nani took to social media to clarify on these speculations today as he affirmatively said he is not joining BJP.

In response to recent media speculation, I want to once again clarify my position regarding my political retirement. On June 10 of this year, I formally announced my decision to step away from politics. That decision remains unchanged. However, I sincerely believe that one does not need to be in politics to serve the people, Nani noted a short while back.

About the philanthropic side of things and the intention to give back to Vijayawas people, Nani wrote “Public service is a lifelong commitment, and I will continue to work for the welfare of the people of Vijayawada Parliamentary constituency irrespective of caste, creed, religion, or political affiliation. My service to society is not tied to any political party or position, but to my deep-rooted dedication to the well-being of my fellow citizens of Vijayawada.”

He concluded by saying “I urge everyone to disregard any baseless reports regarding my political comeback. My focus remains solely on contributing to the development and prosperity of Vijayawada Parliamentary Constituency and its people in every possible way.”
