Kesineni Family Wants To Leave TDP Once For All?

In an unwanted development, the opposition Telugu Desam Party and a senior MP are having an ugly fallout. The MP made some serious comments on the party leadership and even threatened to resign from the MP post and the party membership. He openly said this grabbing everyone’s attention.

Senior MP Kesineni Nani from the Vijayawada seat recently said he would resign as an MP. Ahead of the elections, his episode became a headache to the party. Now it looks like his daughter is showing stars to the opposition party.

Kesineni Nani’s daughter Swetha who is serving as the Corporator resigned from her post. She visited the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation and handed over her resignation. This is the formal way of resigning from the party’s position. In the intense local body polls, she won as a Corporator.

Earlier it was reported that Swetha might be made the Mayor. However, the TDP’s performance in the elections did not had the space for this and she was restricted to Mayor. Now she resigned from the post.

In the wake of Kesineni Nani getting clarity that he would not get the ticket in the upcoming polls, the question was raised of what would be his future in the party. With this Swetha might have decided to stay away from the politics.

In a span of a few days, the Kesineni family showed stars to the TDP. First Nani said he would have gotten a big position had he backstabbed Chandrababu Naidu and announced the big news of resigning as an MP.

Now it's the turn of his daughter Swetha to resign as a Corporator. It looks like the family wants to leave the party once and for all and get away from this as soon as possible. Let us wait and see what happens next.
