The grand old Telugu Desam Party is very adamant about winning the upcoming elections. Considering the party's performance in the last elections it is the need of the hour to win the 2024 elections or else there would be assurance of the survival in the future.

Knowing the importance of the next elections holds, the TDP is not shying away from taking big decisions and Kesineni Nani's episode can be cited as an example. Many say that TDP sent a strong message with his episode as the leadership took a daring step.

Kesineni MP is a two-time MP from TDP from the Vijaywada seat. He is among the few MPs who won the elections in 2019 withstanding the Jagan wave. Despite this TDP decided to not give him a ticket. The same was conveyed to him by the seniors.

The MP himself said that the party leadership decided to not give him a ticket and was also asked to take a backstep from the activities. ex-minister Alapati Raja, TDP NTR district president Nettem Raghuram, and TDP Krishna district president, Konikalla Narayana met him to send the message and make him understand the situation.

As an example of making him free from the party activities, another leader was appointed as the in-charge of the Tirupur meeting. While TDP decided how to deal with this Kesineno Nani said that he would follow the instructions of the party chief.

Kesineni Nani has been troubling the party of late. He is having some issues with the other leaders and he openly made some comments on them. Nani also targeted the party leadership on some occasions.

On the other hand, Kesineni Nani's brother Chinni also has political aspirations. It is said that the leadership is encouraging him. An ugly fight broke out between supporters of Kesineni Nani and his brother Chinni who is serving as TDP Vijayawada parliament incharge. Amid this, he was asked to stay out.
