I Have Decided To Sail With Jagan: Kesineni Nani!

Under a dramatic turn of events, the Telugu Desam Party and Kesineni Nani had an ugly fallout. The long-standing ties between both sides came to an end. The sitting MP announced his resignation from the party and as the MP. His daughter also resigned as the Corporator recently.

As a big twist in the tale Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas who is popularly known as Nani met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Nani meeting Jagan came as a big blow to the opposition party Telugu Desam Party. The meeting was concluded and he spoke to the media.

The MP announced a big decision to walk with Jagan. He said that he had decided to sail with the Chief Minister and he will take up any post that is allocated to him by the party now. A few leaders including Vellampalli Srinivas were present when Nani addressed the media.

Speaking to the media Kesineni Nani came down severely on Chandrababu Naidu and dubbed him as the big cheater. I never thought that Chandrababu Naidu would cheat me like this. He made people abuse me in press meets. Still, I did not say anything. As I could not stay in the party I decided to quit, he said,

I have sold assets for the party and worked hard for the party, I never took even a single rupee from Chandrababu. I worked hard for the party to win the Corporation elections, ZP elections, and other elections. Despite this, I was humiliated in many ways. Chandrababu Naidu humiliated me, he said.

Kesineni Nani alleged that Chandrababu Naidu has no interest in developing Vijaywada. I got funds from the Centre and developed the region. When Amaravati was proposed I told that it was not a good idea as people would not come to Amaravati leaving the other capitals. I told Chandrababu Naidu that Vijayawada is a reality and Amaravati is your(Chandrababu's) dream which needs to become a reality, he observed.

Talking about Amaravati Kesineni Nani said that like how Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal, Chandrababu Naidu planned Amaravati. When we ask who built the Taj Mahal, Shah Jahan comes to our mind and Chandrababu had similar plans, he added.
